Early in 1945, Waco ^® began operations as a supplier of scaffolding and accessories to Minnesota's post World War II contractors. Originally known as Wilson and Albrecht Co., the company's first products were rugged tubular steel scaffolding. In 1952, Wilson and Albrecht changed its name to Waco ^® .
